This is Kingdom Life
We are a warm, friendly Christian community based in Heaton, and we believe church should feel like home - no pressure, no expectations, just people following Jesus and doing life together! Whether you’re curious about faith in Jesus, looking to connect, or simply exploring something new, you’re invited. We meet on Sundays at 10:30am. Our Sunday gatherings are relaxed and uplifting. You can expect music, helpful teaching for everyday life, and a supportive atmosphere where you can come as you are.
Our Vision
We want to see people come to know Jesus and grow in relationship with Him—impacting Newcastle so that people recognise God at work today. Summarised in our vision statement:
'We exist to awaken people to the reality of Jesus and bring heaven to earth here in Newcastle'.
Our Values
Put God’s Kingdom First - Based on Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 6:33, we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness. This means - living generously, trusting God with our time, our talents, and our resources. Generosity
Be Prayer-Fuelled People - Prayer is not an optional extra for us. It is the engine room of the church.
Put Love in Action - Jesus said the world would recognise His disciples by their love (John 13:34–35). This love is practical, sacrificial, and visible.

This is Elim
The Elim Pentecostal Church was founded in 1915 by a Welshman in Monaghan Ireland. George Jeffreys was an outstanding evangelist and church planter. He had a Welsh Congregational background, was strongly influenced by the Welsh Revival of 1904, and was introduced to Pentecost by an Anglican vicar. Between 1915 and 1934, George Jeffreys conducted some tremendous evangelistic missions, thousands would clamour for a seat. Amazing miracles of healing took place. This growing group of Pentecostal believers found fresh identity not just in the exciting brand of meetings and methods with which they had been reached for Christ but in their experience of the baptism in the Holy Spirit, attested to by speaking in tongues and in the miracles and healings which were a regular feature of so many of their meetings.
George Jeffreys chose the name Elim for the new movement following the practice in his home of Wales of giving churches biblical names, and also after the Elim Mission he had visited in Lytham, Lancashire.
Today, Elim has hundreds of churches in the UK and Ireland, plus missionaries and ministries around the world, all being agents of transformation to many hundreds and thousands of people. Elim has churches in cities, towns, and villages across the UK that are committed to revealing Jesus to everyone. Together, we're helping people live in obedience to the word of God, raising up and training leaders, inspiring and releasing new church plants, and sending missionaries across the globe.
