The Kingdom Life Community Grocery is here for the people of Newcastle, helping to keep households fed while also offering access to wider support. Whether you’re a student, finding finances a bit tight, supporting a family, or simply need a helping hand, you’re very welcome here. We aim to bridge the gap between food banks and supermarkets, providing affordable groceries in a dignified, supportive space.

Undergrounds Cafe
Undergrounds Cafe is a welcoming space at Kingdom Life, opened in November 2022 after the renovation of our basement area. Running alongside our Community Grocery Store, it’s a place where everyone is welcome to pause, enjoy good food, and feel at home.
The café is run by a fantastic team of volunteers who love serving others and brightening someone’s day. We offer a range of teas, barista coffees, hot chocolate and soft drinks, along with warm meals and delicious homemade cakes.
Whether you’re popping in for a coffee, meeting a friend, or taking a moment to rest, Undergrounds is a friendly space to relax and connect.

Community Outreach
Each Wednesday morning, a team from Kingdom Life Church heads out into our local community to offer practical help, prayer, and encouragement to those we meet. We walk around Shields Road, Morrisons, and Hadrian’s Square, connecting with people, listening to their stories, and offering support where it’s needed. Our heart is simply to be present, to care, and to share hope with our neighbours.
Weekly Drop-in
Drop by on a Wednesday lunchtime 12-1:45pm for tea, coffee, soup, biscuits, crafts, company, music, and encouragement. Our team works closely with Teen Challenge. If you or someone you know would benefit from support relating to alcohol or drugs, just let us know.
